ABOUT THE NHRC SHORT-TERM INTERNSHIP PROGRAMME

The NHRC internship aims to promote human rights literacy among young students by giving them the opportunity to learn directly from India’s leading statutory body established under the Protection of Human Rights Act, 1993.

Interns will:

  • Work on human rights research and report drafting

  • Participate in webinars and workshops hosted by NHRC

WHO CAN APPLY?

Eligible candidates include:

  • Students in 3rd year or above of 5-year integrated programs

  • Students in 3rd or final year of undergraduate courses

  • Postgraduate students (any semester)

  • Postgraduate diploma students

  • Age limit: Below 28 years (as on 1 Jan 2025)

  • Must have minimum 60% aggregate marks in Class 12 and higher studies

    • Academic details (Class 10 onwards)

    • Personal details & contact information

    • A 250-word Statement of Purpose (SOP)

  5. Complete mobile & email OTP verification.

  6. Submit before 3 September 2025.
